“I will stand my watch… to see what He will say to me…” Habakkuk 2:1
There is a river of divine revelation that the Christian Church commonly refers to as the prophetic. One who has the gift of prophecy is one who hears the voice of God in some form or another and that person is responsible for speaking forth the message the Lord has given them to say.
From that vast river of prophecy flows two separate streams of revelation. These streams carry the office of a prophet. One stream primarily receives God's messages audibly while the other stream primarily receives God's messages visually. The latter is known as the seer. Not all prophets can see, but all seers are prophets.
I am a seer. My call was revealed to me, by God, in a vision. I receive revelation both visually and audibly. This is the ministry God has given me. “I will stand my watch… to see what He will say to me…” Habakkuk 2:1
